Voice Lab

Voice Lab enables singers interested in Institute study to experience the powerful principles and techniques that uncover the Authentic Voice before committing to a sequence of ongoing courses. Voice Lab provides opportunities for singers and speakers to work on an drop-in basis. It provides our present students with additional opportunity to address specific needs and challenges and enables them with a means to make up a regular class session when needed. Voice Lab is taught by Institute Apprentice teachers as part of their Internship and provides a variety of vocal experiences (breathing, speaking, chanting, solo or group singing) within a small group laboratory. No prerequisite and all are welcome!

Note: If you are a currently enrolled student, there is no fee for registering and attending a Voice Lab class as a make-up class.

When: Voice Lab will only be offered on the following Sundays from 3:30-5:30pm during the Spring semester:
January 15th, 22nd, and 29th
Febuary 12th, 19th, and 26th
March 11th, 18th, and 25th

Where: Institute’s Studio, 5101 SE 17th Ave., Portland, OR 97202

Cost:
$23 per class for Currently Enrolled Students(must be enrolled in a current 14 week Voice or Musicianship Class) attending Voice Lab not as a make-up class.
$38 for Non-Currently Enrolled Students (not enrolled in a current 14 week Voice or Musicianship Class).
