Singing and speaking are the same thing. Singing is merely speaking that is sustained on exhaled breath. If you can speak, you can sing!
If your speaking voice has inflection (pitch variation) then you can carry a tune. Anything we hear in a human voice that is not beautiful is the sound of tension. Tension is eliminated in the vocal system when the singer understands the physical laws that apply to respiration and phonation. It is characterized by clarity, power, resonance, range, intelligibility, and ease of production. We are in communication with the God-Source when we inhale. The voice, which is produced with exhaled breath, is the voice of Source flowing through us, and is inherently beautiful.
