Our principles are our core spiritual philosophies. As such, our Techniques and Methodologies organically emanate from them.  We have included some of the most important principles here but this is by no means inclusive.

Core Principles on Spiritual Relationship and Purpose

CORE PRINCIPLE:  There is a Force called by many names, including God, Buddha-Nature, The Universe, Chi, Life Force, Jesus, or Allah. The name doesn’t matter for our Principles, but will be called “Force,” “Life Force,” “Source,” or “God-Source” herein. This Force is conscious, eternal, benevolent, and active. It is a mystery.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  Life Force is at work in the lives of Artists. Making art is creating as Life Force also creates, and is therefore a sacred activity, good, healthy, and joy-producing. Artists experientially feel Source working through them as being “in the zone” or in a bliss-state, and as a loss of self or ego. Observers of art experience Source’s role in art as “the chill factor,” or the “aesthetic response” of awe, for which there are no words.

Core Principles on the Nature of Suffering

CORE PRINCIPLE:  At the center of our suffering lies “The Great Lie.”  The Great Lie states that a singer is only as valuable as their fame and commercial success.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  The Great Lie silences and shames those who consider themselves non-singers.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  The Great Lie encourages the professional and aspiring professional singer to pursue ego-aggrandizement and commercial success instead of artistic integrity and spiritual purpose.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  The Great Lie leaves the professional and aspiring professional singer feeling unworthy and defective.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  The purpose of The Great Lie is to control the spiritual power of singing and music. Its purpose is to manipulate the hunger for singing and music so it can be commercialized.

Core Principles on the Nature of Fear and Its Result

Bookmark and Share

CORE PRINCIPLE:  The greatest fear of mankind is shaming, humiliation, and banishment from the group.

CORE PRINCIPLE: The Great Lie is perpetrated by our internal critic – the “Evil Twin” – who attacks us with negative judgment and encourages us to compare ourselves with others and hold ourselves to an impossible standard of perfection. The Evil Twin triggers fear, and feeds on fear.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  Fear causes the muscles and breathing mechanism – the foundation of the art of singing and the source of our voice—to contract or even freeze. Fear causes muscular tension.

CORE PRINCIPLE:  Tension is the enemy of the vocalist. It destroys the innate beauty of the self-manifested, perfect Authentic Voice by causing the vocalist to fall out of alignment with the physical laws, and thus with Source.
